In the lush landscapes of Karnataka, a literary giant emerged, leaving a significant mark on the Kannada language and literature. Kuppali Venkattappa Puttappa, officially known as Kuvempu, was a multifaceted personality. To honor his passion for the Kannada language, we at DPS established the Kuvempu Kannada Club during the 2023-24 academic session.
The Kuvempu Kannada Club aims to raise awareness about the importance of the Kannada language and culture among children. The activities, designed by teachers, are intended to ignite a passion for learning Kannada and to familiarize students with the rich cultural and literary heritage of Karnataka.
School Uniform
Our school promotes discipline and unity through a prescribed uniform. All students are required to follow the dress code as per their grade level.
- Boys: Shirt, trousers, tie, blazer, and shoes.
- Girls: Shirt, skirt/trousers, tie, blazer, and shoes.
- Physical Education classes require separate sports uniforms.
